Tour de Cluck, Davis’s favorite fowl-fashioned bike tour, returns on May 25, 2013 offering the chicken lovers and chicken curious among us the opportunity to tour a variety of our Davis backyard chicken coops. Organizers are already anticipating an even more fun fourth year.

Tour de Cluck is looking for submissions from all over Davis, don’t be shy! Show off your hens in El Macero, Westlake, or other neighborhoods elsewhere in Davis

The coops selected will be presented as a self-guided tour in neighborhood clusters, coop loops if you will, with most having easy access to the Davis Bicycle Loop. In addition to an exceptional variety of coop styles and chicken breeds, each coop loop will include the added feature of a backyard chicken expert to provide information for those interested in taking the poultry plunge.

Your participation will benefit the Davis Farm to School’s work to support local food in a healthy school environment.
