Known for eclectic bicycle events, Davis, CA now hosts the “Tour de Cluck: A Bicycle Chicken Coop Crawl". The tour is a benefit for Davis Farm to School http://www.davisfarmtoschool.org/ F2S programs include garden based learning, classroom cooking, cafeteria taste-testing, local farm visits for second graders, waste management programs such as composting and recycling, and lessons for school cafeteria workers on seasonal and from scratch cooking.
The Tour de Cluck was held Saturday, May 22, 2010 and included the "Courage to Cluck" exhibition.
