Davis Farm to School will feature artists in the Tour de Cluck: A Bicycle Chicken Coop Crawl in Davis, CA on May 26, 2012. A wildly popular component of this multi-faceted event is the chicken-themed Tour de Cluck Art Exhibit & Silent Auction, which takes place in a festive white tent on the Central Park Green from 9 am ‘til 2 pm.
Tour de Cluck Art Exhibit & Silent Auction is open to all artists. The theme of this egg-cellent event is the mighty and noble chicken. New for 2012, the auction will include barnyards & bicycles, too! The artwork submitted will incorporate the selected theme, however subtly or boldly. Each piece submitted will be accompanied by an artist's statement (100 words or less) describing the artist or how they were inspired to create their work.
